Preparations for the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinal first-leg tie between Rivers United and USM Alger in Nigeria are in full swing.
The match, set to take place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, will see the Pride of Rivers face off against the North African opponents.
A light training session was held on Friday afternoon by the former Nigeria Premier Football League champions.
Coach Stanley Eguma’s team is scheduled for a final training session on Saturday before the big game.
The match is slated to kick off at 2 pm local time on Sunday.
USM Alger, the visiting team, arrived in Uyo on Friday afternoon in preparation for the match.
