Update on EPL Standings: Arsenal Strengthen Lead with Victory over Bournemouth

Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table with a convincing 3-0 win against Bournemouth over the weekend.

The Gunners asserted their dominance right from the start, breaking the deadlock with a goal from Bukayo Saka.

After a VAR check following a foul on Kai Havertz in the penalty area, Saka calmly converted the spot-kick.

Despite Bournemouth’s attempts to retaliate in the second half, Leandro Trossard beautifully curled in a pass from Declan Rice to secure another goal for Arsenal.

Bournemouth had a goal disallowed due to an infringement before Rice sealed the victory with a late third goal.

Arsenal now sits comfortably at the top of the table with 83 points, widening the gap to four points over second-placed City, who face Wolves in the late kick-off on Saturday.
