An overnight Russian drone strike in the Ukrainian port city of Odessa resulted in injuries to nine individuals.

Local military administrator Oleh Kipe, in a post on his Telegram channel, disclosed that among the victims were four children aged 12 and 9, as well as two infants under a year old. The four children were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.

Reports from local authorities indicate that several houses and a minimum of 14 flats sustained damage as a result.

Dozens of individuals were successfully rescued from the debris by rescue workers.

For over two years, Ukraine has been defending itself against a Russian invasion with significant support from Western allies.

Moscow has unlawfully annexed four regions in the eastern and southern parts of Ukraine.

Currently, the conflict remains primarily concentrated in the eastern and southern regions.

The Ukrainian government has urged its Western allies to provide additional air defense systems to enhance the protection of its cities and territories.

Russia’s military actions have been targeting critical electricity, energy, and water infrastructure in Ukraine.
