The residents of Ibadan, Oyo state are mourning the loss of three children in a devastating fire that broke out in the early hours of January 3rd.
Reports indicate that the family lived in an apartment in the Ehin Grammar Area of Molete, Ibadan. The parents, known as Iya Ara and her husband, had left for work, leaving the children locked inside the house. Tragically, the fire spread rapidly and the children were unable to escape.
The oldest child, named Glory, was a secondary school student, while the other two were in primary school.
This morning, the police arrived at the scene and removed the charred bodies of the children to the morgue.
