In a recent development, Tonto Dikeh, a prominent Nollywood actress, has voiced her criticism towards Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate for the 2023 election, regarding the boreholes that were installed in certain communities in Northern Nigeria.
It was reported that Peter Obi had taken the initiative to donate and officially launch boreholes in various communities across the North.
Taking to her Instagram account, Tonto Dikeh expressed her disappointment and dissatisfaction with the quality of the boreholes that were donated to communities in the Northern region.
She called on the Anambra politician to collaborate with President Bola Tinubu in order to contribute towards the advancement of Nigeria.
In her message, she wrote: “Your Excellency, with all respect, @peterobigregory, I am truly dismayed by this. The fact that the future of Nigeria was almost placed in your hands is disheartening. This is not mere criticism; I genuinely feel let down by your actions.
“I am in shock. Were you genuinely dedicated to elevating this nation to the next level? This scenario emphasizes the importance of all of us working together with Mr. President, @officialasiwajubat, and actively participating in the nation’s development. It is not a task for one individual; it necessitates the collective commitment of everyone.
“Your Excellency, Mr. Obi, I am deeply disappointed. Nevertheless, you remain one of my favorite politicians. Yet, I believe in speaking the truth directly because I care for you, but most importantly, I care for Nigeria.”
