Tom Brady bids farewell to the New England Patriots


Tom Brady, the legendary American football quarterback, has declared his departure from the New England Patriots after an illustrious 20-year career, which saw him clinch six Super Bowl victories, nine AFC titles, 219 wins, and three Most Valuable Player awards.

 

The 42-year-old, now a free agent, took to Twitter on Tuesday to make the announcement, refraining from disclosing his future destination.

 

In a heartfelt statement, he conveyed his gratitude, saying, “To all my teammates, coaches, executives, Coach Belichick, RKK, and the Kraft family and the entire organization…I want to say thank you for the past twenty years of my life and the daily commitment to winning and creating a winning culture built on great values.”

 

“I am grateful for all that you have taught me – I have learned from everyone,” he added, highlighting the impact of his experience with the team and the invaluable lessons he has garnered.

 

“Although my football journey will take place elsewhere, I appreciate everything that we have achieved and am grateful for our incredible TEAM accomplishment,” Brady stated, acknowledging the collective efforts and successes during his tenure with the Patriots.

In a separate address to the fans, Brady expressed his heartfelt appreciation, saying, “I wanted to say thank you to all of the incredible fans and Patriots supporters. MA has been my home for twenty years…It has truly been the happiest two decades I could have envisioned in my life and I have nothing but love and gratitude for my time in New England.”

 

He also cherished the memories created in New England and thanked the fans for their unwavering support, acknowledging the significance of their commitment and loyalty to the team and the city.
