President Bola Tinubu has offered his sympathies to the government and citizens of Jigawa following the devastating floods that have impacted the state.
The floods, resulting in loss of life and displacement of many residents, have caused widespread destruction across 14 local government areas.
In a statement released on Wednesday by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu expressed deep sadness for the lives lost and the hardships faced by those affected communities.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu extends his heartfelt condolences to the government and the people of Jigawa State in light of the recent floods that have tragically claimed lives and displaced a significant number of citizens,” the statement conveyed.
