Kenya Grapples with Rising Cholera Cases Amid Devastating Floods
Reports from the government indicate that the number of cholera cases has surged to 107 in Kenya as the country continues to be battered by heavy flooding triggered by ongoing seasonal rains.
Efforts led by the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the Kenya Red Cross have been underway to conduct medical outreach programs and implement control measures to combat cholera and other waterborne diseases in several counties, including Nyeri, Tana River, and Marsabit.
