President Muhammadu Buhari, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, and other notable figures have extended their well wishes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 72nd birthday.

In a statement released by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, President Buhari praised Tinubu’s continuous efforts to address Nigeria’s challenges.

Expressing his wishes, President Buhari stated, “My family and I pray for your good health and happiness, and for your ongoing dedication to the advancement of our nation. Happy birthday!”

Governor Sanwo-Olu, in a statement from his media aide Gboyega Akosile, lauded Tinubu as a bold, daring, and dedicated leader committed to Nigeria’s progress and development.

He further added, “President Tinubu’s financial acumen and economic prowess, showcased during his tenure as Governor of Lagos State, have propelled our state to new heights. Today, Lagos stands as a beacon of pride for Nigeria, holding the esteemed rank of the fifth largest economy in Africa.”

Similarly, Fubara described President Tinubu as a selfless leader, a champion of peace and unity, and a unifying force in the growth of democracy in the nation.

This statement was relayed in a release by his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, on Thursday.

In addition, House of Representatives Speaker Abbas Tajudeen conveyed his regards to Tinubu.

In a message delivered by his media aide, Musa Krishi, Abbas referred to Tinubu as “a master strategist of progressive politics.”

Notably, last Sunday, Tinubu requested that his birthday celebrations be kept modest, considering the current atmosphere in the country.
