The Title Race in NPFL: Ogunmodede Braces for Challenging Matches for Remo Stars

Head coach Daniel Ogunmodede of Remo Stars is gearing up for a tough challenge in the upcoming fixtures of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

In the next two matches, the Sky Blue Stars will be pitted against Doma United and Plateau United away in week 30 and 31 respectively.

Ogunmodede expressed his anticipation for a challenging encounter against the Savannah Tigers due to their recent string of winless performances.

Similarly, he foresees a demanding match against Plateau United, given the Jos club’s ambitions for the title.

Speaking to the club’s media, Ogunmodede remarked, “The upcoming league matches will pose a significant challenge for us.”

“Doma United’s resurgence after a series of winless games, demonstrated by their crucial victory against Akwa United in Uyo, highlights the tough task ahead,” he added.

“Their response mirrors the intensity we faced in our win over Akwa United on matchday 29. Now, they seek redemption for their loss against Doma United, which they couldn’t achieve.”

“We are heading to Jos to confront Plateau United, another strong title contender. It’s going to be a test of character in these two difficult away fixtures.”

“Nonetheless, our goal remains to secure maximum points from both games.”

With 49 points, Remo Stars currently occupy the third position on the NPFL table.
