Bayelsa Police Command Ensures Security and Extends Greetings to Muslims during Eid-el-fitri

Security ahead of the Eid-el-fitri celebration in Bayelsa State has been guaranteed by the State Police Command.

CP Alonyenu Francis Idu, the Commissioner of Police, has instructed the Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and Heads of Tactical and Operational Teams to uphold the Command’s proactive policing approach for the period.

In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Musa Mohammed, the CP expressed his felicitations to Muslims in the state for the Sallah celebration.

Warm greetings are extended to the people of Bayelsa State, especially the Muslim community, as they get ready for the Eid-el-Fitri Sallah festival by the Commissioner of Police, CP Alonyenu Francis Idu and the Command’s officers and personnel.

The directive given to the Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, DPOs, and Heads of Tactical and Operational Teams is to uphold the Command’s proactive policing strategy to ensure full control of their respective security zones, preventing any security risks during and after the celebration.
