The Reaction of Ondo APC Primary’s Deputy Governor, Adelami, to Aiyedatiwa’s Victory in Owo

In the Owo primary election, Ondo State Deputy Governor Olayide Adelami expressed his delight at the massive turnout of All Progressives Congress, APC, members to vote for his principal, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

On Saturday, his spokesperson, John Paul Akinduro, released a statement on Adelami’s behalf.

After participating in the voting process at his Igboroko 2 Ward 3 in Owo, the deputy governor conveyed his appreciation to the press.

He stated, “Upon my arrival this morning, I noticed the absence of supporters for other candidates. I had anticipated this as the people of Owo have consistently shown their dedication to the Aiyedatiwa cause.”

Pointing to the crowd backing Aiyedatiwa, he remarked, “The overwhelming support of the Owo people towards him is evident, signaling their unanimous endorsement which resonates throughout the state.”

Adelami commended the orderly conduct of the APC primary election in the visited wards, praising the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and party members.
