The NBA President supports Pastor Enenche’s query of the lady with a ‘BS.C in law’

NBA President, Yakubu Maikyau, has addressed the debate surrounding Vera Anyim’s recent testimony claiming to have earned a B.Sc in Law from the National Open University.

Vera shared her story at Dunamis Church in Abuja, stating she was the sole graduate in her family.

When Pastor Enenche questioned the details of her degree during the testimony, accusing her of dishonesty, it led to widespread controversy and varied opinions amongst Nigerians.

In response, Enenche later apologized, citing the church’s stance against mediocrity and falsehood.

Speaking at a press briefing, the NBA President emphasized that no university in Nigeria offers a B.Sc in law, criticizing Vera for claiming a non-existent title.

Commenting on a video of the incident, the President highlighted Pastor Enenche’s observation of inconsistencies in Vera’s testimony, aligning with legal professional standards.

He commended Enenche for his approach in cross-examining Vera, noting the inaccuracies in her portrayal of a law degree.

The President stressed that the proper title for a law degree is not B.Sc, directing individuals to pursue legal education through accredited channels for a correct understanding of the field.

He concluded by dismissing the need to dwell on falsehoods, urging a focus on truth and accuracy in discussions.
