The Kremlin spokesman and Putin’s right hand has been satisfied with Zelenski’s turn, has valued it “positively”but recall Dmitri Peskov that at the moment the legal prohibition of negotiating with Vladimir Putin is still in force in Ukraine.
In his daily press conference, Peskov has insisted that “The question is who to sit” at the negotiating table. And he added that, although the Kremlin position is favorable to this new scenario, “the nuances have not yet changed.”
Gone is the verbal confrontation that the Ukrainian and the American star last week at the White Houseafter Zelenski has written on his social networks that – both his team like him – are “willing to work under the strong leadership of President Trump for lasting peace”. And all this when the Trump administration has just closed the economic and military aid tap to Ukraine.
