The Head Coach, Paul Offor, Sacked by Sporting Lagos

Sporting Lagos, a team in the Nigeria Premier Football League, has decided to part ways with their head coach, Paul Offor.

Offor’s dismissal came as a result of his team’s struggles in the NPFL.

The departure of the tactician was officially confirmed through the club’s X handle.

In the statement released, it was mentioned, “Sporting Lagos announces the departure of head Coach Paul Offor.”

It further added, “Coach Paul brought top-flight football back to our city and gave us the first piece of silverware in our history.”

Appreciating Coach Paul’s contributions, the statement concluded with, “Thank you for everything, coach Paul. We wish you the very best in your future endeavors.”

Sporting Lagos has identified Abdullahi Biffo, the former Kwara United coach, as a potential replacement for Offor.

Currently, they hold the 11th spot on the NPFL table with a total of 38 points.

Throughout the current campaign, Sporting Lagos has secured 10 wins, eight draws, and suffered 12 defeats.
