The Civil Guard reaches Rafah's border crossing in Gaza to participate in the European Mission

The ten civil guards that Spain brings to the European mission in the passage of Rafah to give security to the international team and the Palestinian authority in the management of the transit of the only border step between Egypt and Palestine They are already deployed in Gaza.

As reported by the Civil Guard in a statement, agents have already joined the mission to Support the reopening of the Rafah’s passage and, together with the International Team of the European Gendarmerie force (Eurogendfor), collaborate in the evacuation of injured and facilitating humanitarian transit.

The Spanish contingent is composed of Eight security specialistsheaded by a captain of the Fast Action Group (GAR), and two agents assigned to the Border Management Teamthe government has reported this week.

In addition to the ten civil guards, two members of the European Mission of Spanish Nationality have also moved to the area, raising a total of twelve Spanish troops deployed by the mission.
