The call-out by Femi Otedola to individuals who have not fulfilled their pledges to the COVID-19 Relief fund

Femi Otedola, a prominent Nigerian billionaire businessman, has publicly called out those who are yet to fulfill their pledges to the COVID-19 relief fund.

Following the outbreak of Coronavirus in Nigeria, several affluent Nigerians had come forward to make donations towards combating the pandemic.

The fund was established at the Central Bank of Nigeria under the Private Sector Coalition Against COVID-19.

A published list shows the individuals who have fulfilled their pledges. Otedola, who last year donated a substantial N5 billion to the Save The Children Fund, has posted the list on his Instagram page and urged those who are yet to honor their pledges to do so.

He expressed:

Integrity lies in matching words with action, which is why I have fulfilled my 1 Billion Naira Donation as published by the Central Bank of Nigeria. Keeping my word is the foundation of my life. I commend the other contributors listed above who have honored their pledge and urge those who are yet to fulfill their commitments to this noble cause that will undoubtedly save lives …F.Ote” he wrote
