Ten Hag on Man Utd’s Sack Speculations Following 4-0 Loss to Palace

Following Manchester United’s 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace on Monday night, manager Erik ten Hag remains resolute in his belief that he is the right person for the job.

The hosts secured a first-half lead with goals from Michael Olise and Jean-Philippe Mateta, which was further extended by Tyrick Mitchell and Olise’s second goal.

This loss places Ten Hag’s team in eighth place in the Premier League standings, with only one win in their last seven matches.

Despite growing speculation about his future at Old Trafford, the Dutchman is confident in his ability to enhance United’s on-field performances.

In response to being asked if he is still the best candidate to lead United, Ten Hag stated after the Palace defeat, “Absolutely. When the right players are available, we have a strong squad.”

“I will continue to fight. I have prepared the team to the best of my ability,” he added.

“While the performance was below par, I take full responsibility. I must find the energy to get them ready for Sunday’s match.”

United is set to face Arsenal in a crucial Premier League fixture on Sunday.
