The students were taken from their rented apartment in the Matuna community on Thursday night, at the edge of the town. Initially intending to abduct residents in the area, the bandits ended up targeting the students. Hamisu Yelwa, the Provost of the College, confirmed the incident and mentioned that school authorities are working with security agencies to uncover all the details of the event. Yelwa also revealed that security measures have been intensified around the school and the community.
