Super Falcons commence camp ahead of clash with South Africa on Sunday for Paris 2024

Preparations for the 2024 Olympic Games final round qualifier between the Super Falcons of Nigeria and South Africa kick off this Sunday.

Head coach Randy Waldrum has extended invitations to 22 players for the upcoming two-leg showdown.

Gearing up for the crucial fixture, the squad, comprised mainly of foreign-based players, will converge in Abuja on Sunday.

A selection of key players enlisted by Waldrum include Asisat Oshoala, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Rasheedat Ajibade, Ashleigh Plumptre, Michelle Alozie, and Toni Payne.

Following a 16-year absence, the Super Falcons are eager to make a grand comeback to the Olympics.

The first leg of the qualifier is scheduled to take place at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Friday, April 5.

Subsequently, the two teams will face off in the return leg in Pretoria on Tuesday, April 9.
