Enhanced proactive visibility patrols are set to be carried out at various locations like worship centers, train stations, highways, motor parks, airports, waterways, recreational facilities, banks, and other financial institutions.

Assurance has been given to travelers journeying to different parts of the country during the festive period, regardless of the mode of transport, with adequate security measures in place for road, air, waterway, and rail passengers.

Intensified deployments, heightened visibility patrols, including aerial monitoring and surveillance, have been established across all regions.

Extending his Easter greetings to the Nigerian populace, particularly the Christian community, the Inspector-General acknowledged the support and cooperation of citizens in providing timely and valuable information to prevent and tackle crimes.

Encouraging unity and vigilance during the period of commemorating the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Inspector-General emphasized the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to ensuring public safety and security.

An urging call was made for individuals to stay alert and report any suspicious activities to the nearest Police Station/Post.
