There has been a persistent effort to distort and tarnish the reputation of Ned Nwoko, one of Nigeria’s prominent industrialists and former House Of Representatives member.
Ned Nwoko has been falsely linked to allegations of land grabbing in his hometown of Idumuje Ugboko, which does not align with his character.
It is important to highlight that he sought approval for a land development project from the appropriate authorities in his homeland, and all necessary compensations were made.
Following due process, a stakeholders’ meeting approved the project and mandated community representatives to oversee its implementation.
The community and its leadership have been in support of Ned Nwoko’s initiatives toward development, and compensation has been duly provided to affected individuals.
In compliance with a peace agreement, all legal disputes related to the land have been addressed, and Ned Nwoko has demonstrated full cooperation.
Despite ongoing legal cases, it is important to note that Ned Nwoko is not the plaintiff or claimant in any of them.
As stakeholders, we urge the people of Idumuje Ugboko to remain steadfast in supporting Ned Nwoko’s endeavors, which hold the potential for significant economic development.
