Singer, Madonna breaks silence after she was rushed to the ICU with infection

Following her rush to the ICU due to infection, Madonna has spoken out about her experience.

Madonna, 64, was discovered unconscious on June 28 and was administered the drug Narcan to counter septic shock before being taken to the ICU with a bacterial infection.

The pop icon announced on Monday that she is on the path to recovery and plans to reschedule her Celebration Tour for later this year.

She also shared a new glamorous photo from her NYC home, expressing gratitude for the support and well-wishes from her fans.

Madonna conveyed her appreciation, saying: ‘Thank you for your positive energy, prayers, and words of healing. I have felt your love.

‘I’m on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings.
‘Upon waking up in the hospital, my first thought was of my children. My second was not wanting to disappoint those who purchased tour tickets.

‘I also didn’t want to let down the hardworking individuals who collaborated with me to create the show. I hate to disappoint anyone.
‘Right now, my focus is on my health and regaining strength, and I promise to return as soon as possible.

‘My current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour, starting in Europe in October.

‘I’m deeply thankful for your care and support. Love, M.’
