Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi, revealed the strong musical “chemistry” she shares with her colleague Falz.
During an interview on Angela Yee’s podcast ‘Way Up,’ Simi mentioned how many people mistakenly believed that they were romantically involved.
She also teased about an upcoming new song featuring Falz, set to be released later this month.
Simi shared, “I have a new single coming out by the end of this month. I can’t reveal the title now, but I can disclose the featured artist – it’s Falz!
“The interesting part is that Falz and I have a history together. Before my marriage, we collaborated on an EP, leading many to speculate about our relationship. We received positive feedback on our joint songs, with people commenting on our great chemistry. This inspired us to create a joint EP called ‘Chemistry’ which was well-received.
“We are planning another collaborative project for the fans. The new song has a humorous vibe to it. I am excited for its release and eager for people to listen to it.”
It’s worth noting that Simi and Falz fueled dating rumors back in 2016 when they released the EP ‘Chemistry.’
The speculations died down after Simi tied the knot with her now-husband, the singer Adekunle Gold, on January 9, 2019, in Lagos. The couple welcomed their first child, Adejare, in 2020.
