An urgent plea for help has been made by Nollywood icon Shan George after facing an unsettling incident where her bank account was reportedly drained by a fraudster.
Expressing her dismay, the veteran actress disclosed that an individual identified as Cecilia made off with the entire sum of N3.6 million from her account.
Through a recorded video on her Instagram, the film star revealed her current financial hardship, emphasizing the struggle of not having enough to provide for her children.
Adding to the predicament, George expressed her frustration as the incident occurred over the weekend, preventing her from promptly visiting the bank to lodge a complaint.
“Nigerians, I implore your assistance. A person named Cecilia has completely emptied my Zenith Bank account by transferring N3.6 million to their Opay account. I am now left completely broke, with no means to feed my children,” she mourned.
