Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar expressed his condolences on the passing of Senator Ayogu Eze. The unfortunate event occurred in an Abuja hospital after a long battle with illness.
Atiku, in a statement on his X page, conveyed his shock and sadness at the news. He highlighted Eze’s service to the people of Enugu North and Nigeria.
Sharing his thoughts, Atiku said, “I was deeply saddened by the news of Senator Ayogu Eze’s passing. He played a pivotal role as a founding member of the @OfficialPDPNig and served the Enugu North Senatorial District and the nation with great distinction.
