Russia resumes long -distance air attacks after Easter truce

Russia resumed this long -distance air attacks this morning against Ukraine after a brief pause this Sunday by the truce declared by the Kremlin on the occasion of Easter, according to the part of the Ukrainian Air Force,

On its Telegram channel, the Ukrainian Air Force reported throughout the morning of the arrival of Kamikaze Shahed Russians to several regions of the center, the south and east of Ukraine.

The public news agency, Ukrinform, has reported explosions in the regions of Mikoláyiv and Jersón (South) and Chekasi (center).

According to the government of Jersón, Three people have died in the region in recent hours as a result of Russian attacks. The source has not specified whether they lost their lives before or after the truce expired.

The president of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski, has denounced that Russia broke the 30 -hour fire that he declared from Saturday afternoon until midnight on Sunday of Resurrection to Monday on about three thousand occasions, with artillery attacks, drones and dozens of infantry terrestrial assaults.

Zelenski also acknowledged and celebrated that long -distance air attacks ceased this Sunday, and proposed to the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, extend the truce for a period of thirty days in the launch of drones and missiles against civil infrastructure located in both rear.

The head of the Ukrainian state had previously raised the possibility of extending the complete truce to kyiv to a month, Russia has not respected.

The Kremlin has refused to extend the truce and has also resumed this type of air attacks.

Attacks in Pokrovsk

According to Zelenski, The rapes of the truce occurred mainly in the Pokrovsk front, located in the Donetsk region and one of the priorities in Russian efforts to continue gaining ground in eastern Ukraine.

He also explained that the Russian forces did not make the truce effective in the Russian region of Kursk, where there is still the presence of Ukrainian troops and the situation does not change during the high pascual fire.

The Ukrainian president said as soon as Putin declared this minitregua that would act in a “symmetrical” way to how Russian forces did, lowering the weapons where the enemy stopped the fighting and responding with fire where not.

These new failed attempts from truce – which comes for the first time from the belligerent parties and not from the US president, Donald Trump – come after the White House warned that he is willing to give up his mediation efforts if the two sides do not take steps that allow us to move towards peace in the next few days.
