Russia attacks Zelenski's hometown in Ukraine and kills 19 people

Ukrainian local authorities reported The death of 19 people, including six children, in a Russian attack Last night with a ballistic missile in the center of the city of Krivi Rigthe hometown of the president of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski.

At least 68 people have been injured In the attack, which was directed against the center of this town, which before the war had 600,000 inhabitants and is located in the Dnipropetrovsk region, in Central Ukraine. Zelenski had previously informed of the death of 14 people.

Zelenski has condemned “the daily Russian attacks” that cause dead. “Only for a reason, which continues: Russia does not want a high fire, and we see it,” he added.

The Ukrainian president has insisted that only the pressure on Russia and the sending of more weapons and anti -aircraft defenses to Ukraine will lead to the end of the war. “The United States, Europe and the rest of the world have enough capacity to force Russia to abandon terror and war,” he said.
