The singer Rosalia has been one of the Hispanic stars invited this year to the Met Gala and has paraded through the iconic staircase of the New York Metropolitan Museum.
It is not the first time that the Spanish artist attends this gala, but this time she has dazzled with the design she has chosen. As every year, it was expected to see extravagance among the more than 400 guests, but Rosalía has opted for a minimalist and sculptural design that simulated the figure of a mannequin, thus symbolized the first steps when creating a custom suit.
A design created especially for her
Rosalía, came from the hand of the French designer Olivier Rousteing with an innovative white dress that molded her torso and was specially designed for her by the creative director of Balmain.
Inspired by the ‘black dandis’
The famous guests at this gala praised the style of the black dandis, the theme of the night, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style (impeccable: the preparation of the black style), and many of them wore extravagant tailoring sets in their honor.
