Rivers State Cabinet: Fubara Makes Changes by Redeploying Two Commissioners Associated with Wike

Minor adjustments have been made to the Rivers State Governor’s cabinet by Siminalayi Fubara.

As announced by the Secretary to the Rivers State Government, Tammy Danagogo, Professor Zacheaus Adangor, the former Commissioner of Justice, has been moved to the Ministry of Special Duties (Governor’s Office).

In a similar move, the former Commissioner of Finance, Isaac Kamalu, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Employment Generation and Economic Empowerment.

The instructions outlined in the statement require Adangor and Kamalu to promptly hand over their duties to their respective Permanent Secretaries.

Emphasizing the urgency, the SSG’s statement included the directive, “All hand-over processes must be completed immediately.”

The state government did not provide a specific explanation for the redeployment of the Commissioners.

Adangor and Kamalu are among the Commissioners from Fubara’s team who are known to be supportive of former Governor Nyesom Wike, currently serving as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
