Rihanna expresses interest in collaborating with Ayra Starr

The possibility of a collaboration between Nigerian sensation Ayra Starr and international star Rihanna seems promising, as Rihanna herself has shown interest in working with her.

Ayra Starr has made it known that she looks up to Rihanna as her role model and has always dreamt of working with her.

During a recent Fenty event, Rihanna surprised Ayra Starr by expressing her desire to collaborate with her. The two were captured on camera having a chat on the black carpet.

Rihanna mentioned that her cousin from Barbados introduced her to Ayra Starr’s music, especially after learning that Ayra Starr holds the Caribbean island in high regard as her favorite place in the world.

Excitedly, Rihanna shared, “I’ve been hearing of Ayra Starr, I don’t know who but my cousin she was like, ‘Oh my God I got this [song] from Ayra Starr.’ She was obsessed with you.”

She then went on to inquire, “Do you have a song with Tems?” to which Ayra Starr replied, “That’s my sister. We do have songs but we don’t have a song [out] yet. But soon..”

Rihanna playfully added, “You got an extra verse for me? Call me.”
