Reflecting on 100 Days in Office: Key Achievements of Governor Ododo


During his initial 100 days as Governor, Usman Ododo of Kogi State has highlighted various accomplishments, including a significant meeting with National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu.

Another noteworthy achievement Ododo mentioned was his first courtesy visit from the Ife-Olukotun Community in Yagba East Local Government Area.

The Governor also emphasized his active involvement in important gatherings such as the Progressive Governors Forum in Abuja and a joint session with the Governors of Kogi, Ondo, and Taraba alongside Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari.

Ododo shared his list of achievements as Kogi State Governor through an official X handle post on Thursday, accompanied by an infographic featuring his photograph.

In his statement, he expressed commitment to further serve the people of Kogi State and extended blessings to both the state and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Further items on his list of accomplishments included the announcement of initial appointments on his first day in office, a warm reception in Okene, the screening and swearing-in of new Commissioners and Senior Aides, the launch of the Metropolitan Quick Response for enhanced security in Lokoja Metropolis, and the distribution of operational vehicles and motorcycles to Vigilante Services for Community Policing.
