Recent Attack in Kaduna Results in Six Deaths and Eight Injuries


Reports indicate that a tragic incident occurred in Ambe community in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, where approximately six individuals lost their lives, and eight others sustained injuries due to an assault carried out by unidentified gunmen.

Daniel Amos, a member of the House of Representatives representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, released a statement revealing that the attack transpired during the early hours of Monday when the assailants invaded the community in a large group, engaging in indiscriminate gunfire.

Expressing his sorrow over the situation, Amos stated, “I received distressing news about the violent attack on the peaceful residents of Ambe community in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Reports indicate that six innocent lives were lost in the brutal attack perpetrated by suspected bandits, with eight others sustaining injuries requiring medical attention.”

Condemning the atrocious act, Amos emphasized the ongoing efforts to address the escalating insecurity within his jurisdiction and the state as a whole, urging the populace of Sanga to maintain calm and unity amidst the turmoil.

He stressed the need for promoting harmony among diverse communities, regardless of differences, and called upon the security forces to swiftly apprehend the culprits and ensure justice prevails, prioritizing the safety and well-being of citizens.

Amos extended his sympathies to the bereaved families, the Arak chiefdom, Sanga Local Government, and the entirety of Kaduna State, while also praying for the prompt recovery of the injured individuals.
