In a bold move, former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour has advised his former club to make a move for Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak in the upcoming transfer window, even if it means breaking the bank, similar to the £100 million splurge on Declan Rice.
Arsenal has been making progress under the guidance of Mikel Arteta in their quest for the Premier League title. However, they recognize the importance of strengthening their squad in the transfer market to compete with the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, and now Newcastle.

Parlour believes that Arsenal might have to match the £100 million fee paid for Rice to secure the services of Isak this summer, as he views the Swedish striker as the solution to their attacking challenges.

“Having quality strikers is crucial, as evident in our era with Wiltord, Kanu, Henry, and Bergkamp. However, Newcastle would be reluctant to part ways with their top striker.

Isak, aged 24, has garnered attention as one of the most dynamic and impressive players in the Premier League, registering an impressive 34 goals for Newcastle over the past two seasons.
