On Wednesday, January 8, a fight erupted at R. Kelly’s residence involving his girlfriends.
Chicago Police responded to a call about a disturbance in the residence, which allegedly involved 22-year-old Azriel Clary and 24-year-old Joycelyn Savage.
In footage from Clary’s Instagram Live obtained by TMZ, Clary and Savage can be seen in a heated exchange that escalated into a physical altercation.
Clary’s phone fell to the ground, and sounds of a scream and intervention from others can be heard in the background.

According to the Chicago Police Department spokesperson, the altercation turned physical when Savage allegedly struck Clary in the face.
Following the incident, Clary was taken to Northwestern Hospital in good condition.
Investigators are currently looking into the situation.
On her Instagram Live, Clary explained that the altercation began when Savage and another woman came to the apartment to pick up Kelly’s belongings, and she asserted that she was defending herself.

Savage, on the other hand, accused Clary of causing a disturbance and labeled her actions as immature.
Meanwhile, R. Kelly is currently held without bail in federal prison in Chicago on charges related to sex crimes, including child pornography and racketeering, to which he has pleaded not guilty.
