Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s Arrival in Nigeria for Official Tour

Upon their arrival in Nigeria on Friday morning, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle commenced their 72-hour official tour.

The journey began with the Duchess of Sussex flying into Heathrow Airport yesterday to reunite with her husband at the exclusive VIP Windsor Suite.

Subsequently, both royalty embarked on a British Airways overnight flight destined for Abuja. However, the flight faced a slight delay due to the unexpected illness of the scheduled pilot, leading to a hurried search for a replacement.

During the flight on the Boeing 777, the couple, visiting Nigeria together for the first time, enjoyed the amenities of the first-class section, segregated from other passengers by a privacy curtain.

This visit follows Harry’s recent sentiments, expressing his delight at returning to the UK to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. His engagements in London over the past few days included participation in events linked to the competition and attending a thanksgiving service.

Upon touching down, fellow travelers were momentarily held back as the couple disembarked, exchanging smiles with the cabin crew along the way.

Welcoming Nigerian officials awaited the couple’s arrival at Abuja Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, swiftly ushering them through a discreet side exit towards a waiting, tinted minibus.
