Primate Ayodele: How I Predicted Tinubu Would Become President in 2001

Founder of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Babatunde Ayodele, discusses the circumstances surrounding his prophecies and his encounter with then-Governor Bola Tinubu in 2001, where he foresaw Tinubu becoming the president of Nigeria

How did you establish the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church and become a man of God?

I am Primate Ayodele. My journey to becoming a man of God was guided by divine direction. I have traversed various religious callings – from the celestial to Cherubim and Seraphim, I’ve been a member of the Scripture Union, and have been part of the gospel church. However, in 1994, God called upon me to start a mission, despite my initial reluctance. Since then, we have nurtured the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, witnessing the manifestation of God’s grace in our midst.

In September 2023, you prophesied about states facing debt crises; what led to this revelation?

Let me clarify, my prophecies often precede events by several years.

In 2001, I had a profound encounter with a sitting governor who I foretold would ascend to Nigeria’s presidency. During a prayer session at the Roundhouse in Alausa, Ikeja, I conveyed the message: “You will lead Nigeria, though the path may be inexplicable.” This experience underscores that my prophecies are not random predictions; they are divinely inspired.

My prophetic journey began in 1988, encompassing not just personal revelations but also national predictions, resonating globally. I operate as a vessel of God’s will, unwavering in my obedience to divine guidance.

Foreseeing economic turbulence is not new to me; such foresight is a testament to the revelations granted to me. My devotion extends to philanthropic activities, aiding widows, orphans, and the vulnerable, instead of pursuing personal luxuries like acquiring a plane.

Since initiating support for widows in 2002, I continue to receive backing from individuals such as Jimoh Ibrahim.

My prophecies, irrespective of their implications, are rooted in divine revelation, devoid of personal agendas or biases. I neither seek acclaim nor fear reprisal; my allegiance lies solely with divine instruction.

I have, at times, prayed against the fulfillment of my prophecies, unburdened by their eventual realization. Accountability, in my view, is owed solely to God.

My track record includes accurate predictions, such as the escalation of fuel prices and fluctuations in the currency exchange rates.

Tinubu’s future unfolds beyond his current perceptions, portending deeper complexities ahead. Despite misconceptions of bias, my intent is guided by divine direction, irrespective of public opinion or personal repercussions.

Anticipating Yar’adua’s premature exit from office in 2006 exemplifies my prophetic accuracy, documented in Global Excellence magazine.

Some claim your prophecies are trend-based rather than divine; how do you address such skepticism?

Those averse to spiritual truths may disparage my prophecies. Preceding Ali Bongo’s political ouster through a coup and forewarning of the coup in Niger attest to the divine insights shaping my predictions.

Predictions, such as the repercussions of the current administration’s election, reflect divine revelation, dismissing baseless accusations of bias or ulterior motives.

My prophetic declarations transcend transient trends, articulating future occurrences ahead of their time.

Foreseeing hikes in cement prices in 2023 and endorsing Joe Biden as a presidential frontrunner in 2020 showcase the prescience underpinning my prophecies.

From political transitions to impending scenarios, my prophetic mantle extends beyond mere trend analyses, guided by divine revelations.

Despite labels of being a “political prophet,” my declarations stem from divine inspiration, shaping national narratives as foreordained by God.

Privy to forthcoming political outcomes, my prophetic directive precedes public awareness, illuminating God’s will in national affairs.

Your prophecies often remain ambiguous, urging prayers for general entities instead of specifying; what informs this approach?

Contrary to misconceptions, the essence of my prophecies is precision, not ambiguity. Recent seismic events in America provide a poignant example of my specific insights into unfolding phenomena.Let’s talk about the earthquake. Pray for the nations that will experience it. Despite praying against my prophecies, it saddens me when they come to fruition.

In 2020, I warned Herbert Wigwe about a potential life-threatening accident and advised him to pray. I didn’t feel the need to publicize it since I had already discussed it with him. His reaction was fearful, to the point of cutting off communication with me due to the scary nature of my prophecy.

Encouraging traditional rulers to pray for their longevity is a positive gesture. I only mention names in my prophecies when instructed by God; otherwise, I refrain from doing so. Critics only make me more resilient, as evidenced by my prophecy in 1994 predicting the Super Eagles’ victory in Tunis.

I utilize my platform to warn and provide guidance when necessary, as seen in my messages to Oba Isolo and Emefiele. Not all heed these warnings, leading to regrettable consequences. The recent unfortunate incident involving the military personnel in Delta State was forewarned, emphasizing the importance of vigilance in certain states.

The government’s handling of palliatives has been critiqued, with suggestions on better distribution methods to avoid corruption. Mechanized farming and local refining of crude oil are proposed solutions that could benefit the economy in the long run. The focus should be on providing affordable food and essential resources to the masses rather than dispersing monetary aid.

Efforts to address issues like student loans must be meticulously planned to prevent corrupt practices from undermining their effectiveness. It is through conscientious governance and strategic policy implementation that lasting positive change can be achieved.

Speculations suggest that your support for not voting for the APC in 2023 stems from your alleged affiliation with the PDP.

I must clarify, to whom do I belong? My opinions are based on what I observe and believe, not on any political allegiance. Even Peter Obi would find it hard to match my insights. I have never even crossed paths with Atiku Abubakar. If I am in a crowd of casually dressed individuals, my face might stand out, as I have a following of seven million online users worldwide.

Let me elaborate, I foresee Idris clinching victory in the upcoming Niger elections. Reflecting on the past, I had cautioned George Weah about his downfall before it occurred. I had a conversation with his deputy, a lady who offered to arrange a meeting with the president, which I declined. I sensed a divine message for the president, not her, and warned against electing him, predicting challenges for Liberia. I also counseled the Liberian president to prioritize his health. Some would insinuate that I received funds from George Weah for this warning, wouldn’t they?

Moving on, in Benin Republic, the president’s political initiatives will face strong opposition from a coalition. Similarly, Cameroon will witness the ousting of Paul Biya in the forthcoming elections. In South Africa, the president’s parliamentary majority is at risk. Ramaphosa’s hold on power is wavering. These insights extend beyond Nigerian borders, notably, preceding their respective elections.

I cautioned John Mahama, my friend, of an impending electoral loss if precautions were not taken. It’s worth noting that I have never participated in any voting process, as I have yet to find a candidate aligned with my beliefs. Despite accusations, no politician has financially supported me; my endeavors are divinely backed. The truth can be unsettling, but I steadfastly stand by my prophecies, unlike some who waver in their claims. A true prophet’s abilities transcend mere healing or revival events.

Preceding the Israel-Gaza conflict, my prophecy had forewarned of the strife. I stand by my revelations, trusting in divine providence to guide their implications.

Turning to Mali, I foresee attempts to undermine democracy. In South Sudan, electoral dynamics are poised for a shift, potentially shortening the president’s tenure upon re-election. Conversely, Equatorial Guinea’s leader faces uncertain times. These insights illuminate a broader spectrum beyond Nigeria’s domestic politics or leadership transitions.

My prophetic scope transcends geopolitical borders, encompassing climate, education, security, and beyond. Long before the US earthquake, I had received divine insights. Remaining selective in my public appearances, I refrain from participation in politicized religious groups, like the Christian Association of Nigeria, driven without a clear ideology.

Allegations of financial inducements from politicians fail to deter my convictions. My prophetic prominence stems from divine gifts, extending beyond national boundaries. I have foreseen global events, such as the pandemic’s origin in China and the shortcomings of the Buhari administration.

Economic recovery remains elusive until 2026, warranting prayers and support for Nigeria’s leadership. Misguided trust in certain individuals may hinder progress, emphasizing the need for collective national prayers.

Your critique of hunger highlighted a global crisis. Why specifically address Nigeria’s situation?

My warning of impending global famine and drought resonates, focusing on Nigeria’s vulnerabilities amid socio-political challenges. Anticipating not just hunger but public discontent, Nigeria stands on the precipice of economic upheaval should corrective measures remain unheeded.

While some financial institutions face instability, I choose not to cite specific names. My foresight extends to economic policies and actors impacting Nigeria’s economic landscape, despite claims of satanic influence or pessimism.

I forewarned Emefiele to no avail, cautioning against detrimental IMF policies. Misunderstandings may label me a harbinger of doom, yet I remain resolute in my convictions regarding imminent political changes across Africa.

Do divine revelations guide your predictions about the Ondo and Edo governorship elections?

In Ondo state, indications favor the incumbent governor’s success in the primaries. Contrarily, the impending Edo election signals an APC victory in a fair contest, barring any manipulations.

The opposition parties in Ondo – PDP, Labour, and NPP – are unlikely to sway the outcome, as the APC appears poised for triumph, unless divine intervention alters the course.

While my support for the APC may spark criticism, I remain steadfast in conveying the messages entrusted to me. Prior engagements with political figures attest to ongoing divine guidance in shaping electoral outcomes.

How do divine communications influence your prophecies?

Maintaining humility, I do not claim direct encounters with the divine or extravagant visions. Rather, divine messages are channeled through various means, prompting my prophetic insights. Through steadfast devotion and prolonged fasting, these revelations unfold into prophecies encompassing diverse societal aspects.

Regarding national issues, have you offered guidance to the President on economic revitalization and security challenges?

Addressing security concerns, I believe such matters warrant the attention of service chiefs rather than the president. While discussions on economic reforms are crucial, the onus lies on competent officials to implement effective policies. As a vessel of divine revelations, my role extends to shedding light on pertinent issues rather than direct policy interventions.

When a crisis loomed ahead in Pharaoh’s time, a solution was revealed through God, but not everyone may be willing to listen to it due to skepticism about its authenticity.

What is your prediction for the outcome of the US presidential election?

The outcome of the US presidential election will heavily depend on whether legal actions can restrain Donald Trump, as I previously mentioned before his departure in 2019. Despite not being the ideal candidate, there are still supporters who favor Trump over Biden. The economic policies under Joe Biden’s administration could have global repercussions. Therefore, unless Trump faces legal obstacles, he might emerge as the winner.

The state of the treasury highlighted by the Kaduna state government is just the beginning, with more states likely to encounter salary payment challenges. A comprehensive restructuring process is crucial to avoid further financial crises, which could take about one and a half years to properly implement. Governors should also be vigilant against unforeseen threats and mishaps.

Have you faced any threats following your prophecy for 2023?

Throughout the years, even during challenging times like the era of Abacha, my life has not been threatened. My prophecies have aimed to support the government in its decision-making processes. Despite facing criticism online, I have not encountered any threats to my well-being since 1994, for which I am grateful.

Can we anticipate any new prophecies in the upcoming months?

The current EFCC chairman is expected to play a significant role in uncovering hidden corruption within the nation. Efforts by the EFCC could lead to the exposure of corrupt individuals. Nigeria’s women’s soccer team might face challenges in their upcoming competition despite possessing talented players. Urgent actions are needed to enhance their performance.

Anticipate potential flooding issues and concerns related to herdsmen, which could impact Nigeria significantly if not properly addressed. Moreover, there is a looming threat from extremist groups targeting African countries like Burkina Faso, Benin, Niger, Nigeria, and Chad. Prayers are essential to safeguard against potential political upheavals in Mali and Cameroon.

In a climate where the prophetic ministry faces skepticism and fraudulent practices, how have you maintained consistency in your work?

My resilience stems from adhering to God’s guidance and following His directives. I act upon His instructions and refrain from actions not ordained by Him. Whenever God sends a message, I ensure its dissemination through various means, even resorting to social media if necessary. Whether or not the recipient acknowledges the message is inconsequential as long as I have fulfilled God’s task entrusted to me.
