President Tinubu’s Official Visit to Netherlands Scheduled for Tuesday

Plans have been finalized for President Bola Tinubu to leave Abuja, the capital city, on Tuesday, April 23, for an official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

This visit comes as a result of an invitation extended by the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte.

During his time in the country, President Tinubu will participate in high-level discussions with the Prime Minister and also hold separate meetings with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Kingdom.

Queen Maxima serves as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA).

Additionally, while in the Netherlands, the President will take part in the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum. This forum aims to bring together leaders from various conglomerates and organizations in both nations to explore collaboration opportunities, particularly in the fields of agriculture and water management for innovative solutions in sustainable farming practices.

There will also be extensive talks with Dutch officials regarding their expertise in port management operations, which is globally recognized.

Following his engagements in the Netherlands, President Tinubu will head to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend a special meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) scheduled for April 28-29.

At this WEF meeting, focusing on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development, President Tinubu and his team will join over 1,000 leaders from business, government, and academia to engage in discussions that align with his Renewed Hope Agenda for the country.

Accompanying the President will be several ministers and senior government officials, as stated by the Presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, in a press release.
