President Tinubu To Make Nationwide Broadcast Today Amid Hardship In Nigeria

President Tinubu is set to address the nation today in the midst of economic challenges following the removal of fuel subsidies. The special adviser to the President, Dele Alake, announced that the broadcast will take place at 7 pm and urged television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets to broadcast the address. This comes as the Nigeria Labour Congress plans a nationwide strike in protest against the rising cost of living due to the fuel subsidy removal. The government will hold a meeting with labour representatives today to try to prevent the planned strike. Despite this, the NLC has advised citizens to prepare for the potential strike by stocking up on essential supplies.
