Preference for Overseas Coach to Lead Super Eagles by NFF Technical Committee

A reliable source within the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has disclosed that the technical committee has put forth a recommendation for an expatriate to take over from Jose Peseiro as the head coach of the Super Eagles, as reported by NewsNow.

The NFF technical committee has already communicated their recommendation to the executive committee of the organization, along with a list of potential foreign coaches for consideration.

In a recent report by NewsNow, it was revealed that Domenec Torrent, a former assistant to Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola, and former Cameroon national team coach Antonio Conceicao are among the top contenders for the position.

This recommendation is based on the prerequisite that the NFF can financially support the hiring of any of the foreign coaches being considered.

Furthermore, the technical committee has given the executive board the flexibility to hire a local coach in the event that funding for an expatriate coach is not available.
