Portable cries out, claiming EFCC is planning his arrest due to alleged Naira abuse

Allegations have been raised by controversial artist, Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, suggesting that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is considering arresting him for purported Naira abuse.

Currently residing abroad, Portable stated that once he lands in Nigeria, he believes operatives from the anti-graft agency aim to apprehend him.

The singer of ‘Zazu’ recently appealed to EFCC for forgiveness if there is any proof of his Naira abuse. He disclosed feeling targeted after VeryDarkMan, a self-proclaimed social media activist, urged the agency to take action against Portable for allegedly mishandling the Naira.

During a recent Instagram live session with his followers, Portable expressed his apprehension, stating, “There is fear in me. The EFCC is allegedly planning my arrest upon my return to Nigeria due to mentions from VeryDarkMan.”

He then went on to address VeryDarkMan critically, questioning his credibility and authority to make accusations, suggesting he should be more cautious about the topics he discusses publicly.

Portable remarked, “It seems you talk excessively, VeryDarkMan or should I say VeryDarkBrain. Save your words for those who have sensible contributions. Why are you taking on the role of law enforcement? Previous interactions saw Nigerians rallying support for your release. Yet, upon your return, your physical appearance was notably different, lacking the muscular build you once had.”

Closing his address, he further criticized VeryDarkMan’s discussions on women, politics, and other subjects, challenging his professional background and rationale behind his opinions.
