Once again, Pope Francis, the leader of the Roman Catholic Church, has made headlines, a week after a video showed him reacting to a woman who forcefully grabbed his hands by slapping her hands.
During his regular General Audience on Wednesday, the pope kissed a nun on the cheek and jokingly asked if she would bite him, possibly in reference to the recent hand-grabbing incident. (If you missed that story, you can read it HERE)
As he walked through a large hall, a nun gestured to the pope, asking for a kiss, “A kiss, Pope!” she said.
In response, the pope playfully joked, saying, “You bite! Calm yourself, I’ll give you a kiss.”
He continued, “Promise you won’t bite?” The nun nodded in agreement, and he proceeded to kiss her on the cheek.
