Police Officer Shoots Nigerian Man’s Car Tires Amid Coronavirus Lockdown

A Nigerian man shared a shocking experience of how a police officer shot his car’s tires while he was heading to the bank to withdraw money for his family’s food during the lockdown due to Coronavirus in Anambra State.

The Anambra native, Muokwe Henry Jones, revealed that the incident took place in Umunze community.

Despite pleading with the police officers to allow him to withdraw money to care for his family, they insisted on being settled before shooting his car’s tires.

According to him, the police officer accused him of defying the state government’s order on movement restrictions due to the Coronavirus outbreak and even threatened to kill him.

The man also alleged that the police officer captured the incident with his phone.
