Police in Lagos arrest suspected ritualist with photos

An individual suspected to be involved in ritualistic activities, 30-year-old Dona Asogba, shown in the image above, has been apprehended by the Lagos state police command in the Ikorodu area.

According to a statement from the police command spokesperson, Bala Elkana, on Sunday, April 5, the arrest was made after residents of Panuse area, Okoafo in Ikorodu reported to Morogbo Police Station about Asogbo and his alleged accomplice, Peter Alogbo, who is currently on the run. They reported that the duo had converted an uncompleted building in the community into a den for rituals, causing fear and panic in the vicinity.

 

Bala stated that a team of Police officers, led by the Divisional Police Officer, visited the scene and discovered various fetish items in their shrine, as well as a mini wooden coffin in the uncompleted building.

 

The police spokesperson mentioned that the investigation is ongoing and authorities are striving to apprehend the fleeing accomplice.
