Police confirm shooting near Drake’s home during dispute with Kendrick Lamar


An investigation is underway at the Toronto mansion of Canadian rapper Drake following a shooting incident overnight.

Police cordoned off the OVO boss’ residence on Tuesday after a shooting incident occurred nearby, resulting in one person sustaining a serious chest injury.

Authorities have confirmed that the injured individual is not Drake and has been rushed to the hospital for urgent surgery, as reported by Toronto’s City News.

Reports came in on X stating that Toronto police were alerted to a shooting around 2:09 a.m. ET in the upscale Bridle Path neighborhood of the city.

The suspect reportedly escaped in a vehicle, although no descriptions of the perpetrator or the car have been provided at this time.
