According to Hassan, the police received a distress call from Hayin Malam Bello community regarding the operation of an unscrupulous robbery syndicate on motorcycles in the area. The suspects were reported to be using a suspected gun to dispossess residents of their phones and other valuables. Upon receiving the information, police operatives swiftly stormed the scene and apprehended two suspects, all hailing from the Rigasa area in Igabi LGA.
Hassan mentioned that the gang leader, popularly known as T-Pain, managed to escape, but he was confirmed to be in possession of an English pistol. However, the investigation is ongoing, with intensified efforts to arrest the escaped gang leader. Hassan urged residents to provide timely and useful information to help combat crime in the area.
