Anyim Vera, a member of Dunamis International Gospel Center (DIGC) who gained attention for a controversial testimony, has been taken into custody by the police.
Reports indicate that Vera was apprehended by the Nigeria Police Force due to a breach of protocol.
The incident involving Vera attracted widespread attention after the Senior Pastor of the church, Dr. Paul Enenche, questioned the validity of her testimony during a church service.
Enenche, expressing skepticism about the grammar skills of a law graduate, posed inquiries to clarify Vera’s story.
In her response, Vera mentioned obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Law from the National Open University of Nigeria, prompting Enenche to halt her testimony, alleging it was false.
However, the pastor later offered an apology, clarifying that he did not intend to embarrass Vera with his intervention during her testimony.
Following the publicized incident, Vera requested financial assistance from well-wishers to secure better housing.
She expressed concerns about the safety and suitability of her current living arrangement given her circumstances.
