Captain of Banyana Banyana to Miss Clash Against Super Falcons in Paris 2024

Due to medical reasons, South Africa will have to do without their goalkeeper, Andile Dlamini, in the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers against the Super Falcons of Nigeria.

Kaylin Swart has been named as the replacement for Dlamini, with head coach Desiree Ellis expressing confidence in her abilities following Swart’s outstanding performance at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand last year.

The first leg of the qualifier will be hosted by Nigeria at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Friday, April 5, with the return fixture scheduled in Pretoria four days later.

The victors of this clash will secure their ticket to Paris 2024.
