Wunmi, the wife of the late Nigerian artist, Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad, is urging her deceased husband’s father, Joseph Aloba, to obtain a court order for a DNA test on her son Liam.
Recalling previous discussions, there have been requests from Mohbad’s father and concerned individuals for a DNA test to confirm the paternity of the late singer’s son, Liam.
Prior to this, Wunmi had expressed her willingness to undergo a DNA test on her son, insisting that it should be conducted both in Nigeria and abroad.
However, in a recent series of Instagram posts, Mohbad’s widow made a plea for assistance, expressing concerns over alleged threats directed towards her and Liam.
“Nigerians, I am seeking your help along with Liam! Will you allow what happened to Ilerioluwa happen to us?”
“We face daily threats and our freedom has been compromised! Nigerians, help us,” she appealed.
She also revealed that Mohbad’s father had pressured them to have a child and questioned the sudden request for a DNA test.
“I never had plans to have a child then, but baba informed Mohbad and me that the Holy Spirit instructed him to appoint a grandson who would arrange his burial coffin.
“I discovered I was pregnant on the 5th of August that same year, and my father-in-law was overjoyed about the news of my pregnancy.”
“Why is he tarnishing the legacy his son left behind?” she questioned.
Nevertheless, she expressed readiness to proceed with the DNA test and encouraged her father-in-law to obtain a court order.
“Get a court order because it is time for me to prove my detractors wrong,” Wunmi stated.
