Two individuals have been apprehended in Niger State for their involvement in an ATM card swapping scheme in Bida. Hailing from Masaka in Nasarawa State, the suspects were discovered in possession of a total of 42 stolen ATM cards. As per a public statement shared by SP Wasiu Abiodun, the spokesperson for the Niger State Police Command, the suspects purportedly mentioned that they were traveling to Offa to attend a funeral. However, they made a detour in Bida where they engaged in illicit activities by stealing ATM cards from innocent individuals.
